A-Rod Injury Puts Dubster in Bind

Moments after Los Chicos Escuelas declared A-Rod as their man, #1 pick recipient David Willis stated that A-Rod had “alot to prove” and floated the idea of taking Alex at #1. If David Willis indeed takes consensus fantasy top pick David Eckstein with the #1 overall selection this year, then the burning question of where Alex Rodrgiuez goes might already have been answered.    “I’m taking him - Is that definitive enough for you?”,  said Griffin, when asked about where A-Rod might go in this year’s draft  (ESPN  - Venetian Hotel - 6:00 p.m., March 21st)    “I’m not a big Yankee fan, but a big part of the joy of fantasy baseball is taking players who you truly love, who you can pull for, who you want to succeed.    We’ve both been through a lot this year, and it just seems like the right thing to do.”
